Big news for enhancing the emerging talents of italian comics
Only a few days remain to the closing date of registration for the Romics Comic Books Contest that rewards the big names of italian and International illustrated literature and which announces important news.
The competition Jury, composed of personalities from the world of comics, culture and art such as Romano Montroni, president of Cepell, Enrico Fornaroli, director of Accademia delle Belle Arti in Bologna, well-known expert and critic in the field of comics and Laura Scarpa, essayist, comics artist; is already working to select the prestigious awards: Grand Prix Romics, Special Jury Award, Best Book of South American School, Best Book of Anglo-American School, Best Book of European School, Best Book of Italian School, Best Book of Japanese School, Best Reprint and New Talents Award.
In this edition of Romics, Cepell – the Center for Books and Reading, created by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, confirming the deeply interest for illustrated literature and new emergent talents, will provide 3000€ for the winner of New Talents category and will promote in the various sector events the works of the first three classified authors.
The award ceremony will take place on Sunday 8 April 2018 at the Pala Romics, Sala Grandi Eventi e Proiezioni, pav.8.
